Gym Rules

GYM RULES

 There are some rules that everyone must follow.  These gym rules are:

  • HAVE FUN!
  • Introduce yourself and use your manners.  We all remember what it is like to be the new kid.  Make people feel welcome.
  • Be on time.  If you are late you may be asked to do burpees.  It will be left up to the coaches discretion if you are too late to join a class and might be asked to leave or wait until the next class.  Don’t talk back or roll your eyes.  BE ON TIME!
  • Give it 100%.  Don’t sandbag, don’t cheat reps or rounds.  We all know when you do it anyway, and like your mom always said, “cheaters never win.”
  • Check your ego at the door.  A girl might lift more than you or beat you, someone older than you might be faster than you.  A coach might ask you to take weight off a bar.  This is for YOUR safety.  If your form stinks you risk getting hurt and we do not want that.
  • Your mom doesn’t work here!  Clean up after yourself.  Put things back where you got them.  Wait until everyone has completed the WOD before cleaning up.  This is for safety so you do not get in people’s way, and also it is disheartening to be still working out when everyone else has already cleaned up.  Cheer on your fellow members while they finish those last reps or rounds!
  • Again, HAVE FUN!
